More recent recipient Allexton Day Nursery run by Kate Lynch took out a loan. Sir Thomas White Charity gave me a £10,000 loan to set up Allexton Day Nursery. We started out with only 4 children and 8 years later we are providing quality care and education for  70 children and employ 16 staff. We have also moved into the Westend Surestart Children’s Centre and we are now working in partnership with them and we are going from strength to strength.

We have made a huge difference to many children and families in our local area. We have achieved the awards to industry award in 2008 for our outstanding contribution to  the caring professions. We are so grateful to the Charity for providing us with this opportunity.
