Join The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity for an event not to be missed for any young or aspiring business owner in Leicestershire.
Forming part of the 2018 Leicester Business Festival, the event – Challenges and Triumphs of Business Start-Up – takes place at Friars Mill from 9.30am on Wednesday 31 October 2018 and is completely FREE OF CHARGE to attend.
The three-hour long event is perfect for those aged between 18 and 34 who want to start, or have recently started, their own business.
Those in attendance will hear first-hand from young businesses who have experienced the challenges and triumphs of starting a business within Leicestershire, making the leap as a young person to become self-employed.
In addition, delegates will be able to find out more about The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity, including the financial support available via the Charity and other support available through its partners.
There will be a chance to engage one-to-one with business mentors and advisers, to gain valued tips on getting started, in addition to network with like-minded individuals to kick-start or expand a business network.
Confirmed speakers for the opening session of the event, providing insight into their own experiences of starting a business in Leicestershire, include:

The second session of the event will include talks delivered by the following, focusing on the construction of a strong business plan – both in terms of content and the financial requirements – and the support offered by The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity.
