Massive congratulations to Laura Cook and The Learning Support Centre on winning the Services Award at this year’s Leicester Mercury Business Awards!
Laura borrowed from the Sir Thomas White Loan Charity to help get her business to where it is today and we’re extremely proud of how well she’s doing.
The Learning Support Centre won this year’s award due to its dedication to helping people to overcome their learning difficulties.
This year’s Leicester Mercury Business Awards were the biggest ever and around 850 people attended the ceremony on Thursday 23rd April – which makes the accolade even more impressive.
The Learning Support Centre provides learning support to dyslexic and disabled students as well as people in the workplace, offering a unique service to meet each user’s individual needs.
The company began in 2010 simply as a service for De Montfort University students – but now employs 50 people and provides specialist disability support services in Leicester, Coventry, Loughborough, Northampton, Nottingham and Birmingham.
It’s brilliant to have been able to help such a wonderful company, which is truly helping members of the community.
